Our Team

Dr. Doug Yarboro, PT, DPT, MBA, CWS, ICLM, and Dr. Leah Yarboro, PT, DPT, MBA, CWS, CLT-LANA, are the dedicated professionals behind Renew Wound Care Center. Based in Mount Airy, North Carolina, they are passionate about serving their community both professionally and personally.

As Board-Certified Wound Specialists and Certified Lymphedema Therapists, Doug and Leah are committed to providing cutting-edge, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. Beyond patient care, their contributions to the field of wound care include engaging in research, mentoring students and colleagues, and presenting at international symposiums. Their expertise has also led to leadership roles, subject-matter expert engagements, and published white papers advancing wound care practices worldwide.

When they’re not caring for patients or advancing the field of wound care, Doug and Leah enjoy spending time with their families, participating in service projects through the Rotary Club of Mount Airy, or escaping to their favorite destination—the beach! At home, they love spending time with their puppy, Mr. Bojangles.
